I personally do not get into the whole thing as for one, it is pretty much just an artificial event, based on false facts, and covers up the invasion of the land by those that came to take away from the native people everything that was sacred to them. Not exactly what most people out there want to hear either. All that being thankful for things that never existed, and are based on lies. Shrugs, such is often the way of the human history, it is always rewritten. Ironic though considering the current world situation.

But I will be traveling and gathering with my own folk over this time, and responses will not be forthcoming till I get back, just so you know.. :) Might even come back with some new stock too. I am not really being grumpy, though I suppose I could if I wanted to, being one of the privileges of wizard kind. I just look at the truth of history and watch the power mongers continue to relive it over and over again, and in the process drag the rest of us through it with them. At great human cost. If you are able to have a warm meal, a home, a shelter, a friend that cares... then be thankful, you have far more than many do in the world.

The best to you all,
I, Myself, and that other fellow, Me.

I outgrew the childish version of our American thanksgiving back in high school when we learned the even biased truth about what really happened. It's a overly commercialized false holiday used to promote sales and get companies back in black for the fourth quarter. Almost all holidays are just that now, greed driven cash ins. I chose not to feed the pig during these times.....

I instead actually just get together with my family and friends and celebrate surviving another year, and pay homage to those whom didn't.
